介紹
大家好,我是Mohit (https:// www . . net / )。目前居住在斯德哥爾摩,但我來自于印度的班加羅爾。我通過自學(xué)成為一名CG美術(shù)師和創(chuàng)意專家。雖然CGI行業(yè)在印度還處于建筑可視化的起步階段,但這將是一段非常偉大的旅程。

關(guān)于我是如何進(jìn)入3D行業(yè)
我的專業(yè)是民用建筑,但大學(xué)時期草圖大師中英文切換,非常喜歡建筑可視化行業(yè)。從那時起就專門學(xué)習(xí)這方面的知識。學(xué)習(xí)這個專業(yè)當(dāng)時非常突然,是源于電影《變形金剛()》,在電影中角色起死回生,非常逼真,這令我非常驚訝。因此,這部電影激發(fā)我要從事3D行業(yè),我從學(xué)習(xí)工具M(jìn)aya軟件開始,后來又學(xué)習(xí)3ds Max,這都是為了更多的專注于建筑方面。我的父親是一名畫家,這對于我理解顏色,構(gòu)圖和藝術(shù)方面都有很大的影響。
目前職業(yè)
我目前在瑞典斯德哥爾摩的TMRW(http:// www . tmrw . se /)擔(dān)任視覺設(shè)計師。由于我參加了2017年的TMRW挑戰(zhàn)賽,這讓我獲得了在瑞典的工作機(jī)會。在來到瑞典之前,我在印度一直是一名自由職業(yè)者。

我日常的工作非常繁忙,發(fā)現(xiàn)在建筑可視化方面并沒有成長以及學(xué)習(xí)一些新的技能,后來我看到2018 挑戰(zhàn)賽的公告,而且比賽題目非常有趣“A Day in the City”。正是這個題目激勵我要參加比賽 - 目的不是贏得比賽,而是要專注學(xué)習(xí)新的應(yīng)用程序草圖大師中英文切換,例如 。
霧都芝加哥的創(chuàng)意
這次比賽的題目讓我想到創(chuàng)作霧都芝加哥。我一直都在創(chuàng)作不同風(fēng)格以及展現(xiàn)不同情緒的作品,而沒有制作日常所見的建筑可視化方面的圖像。我開始研究,,以尋找完美的參考資源,這些資源的構(gòu)圖,光照,配色方案和細(xì)節(jié)之間保持平衡。但我并沒有找到這樣的參考資源,所以我在中使用Photo-技術(shù)創(chuàng)作參考資源。制作了10-15張以這個主題為中心的不同風(fēng)格和構(gòu)思的草圖。這些方面以及最后的決定激勵我要創(chuàng)作“霧都芝加哥”。后來用了2周時間完成整個項目的創(chuàng)作。

當(dāng)我看到公告的時候非常高興,我從沒想過會贏得2018 挑戰(zhàn)賽,因為賽中還有許多其他非常不錯的作品。我認(rèn)為 的“”是一份非常不錯的作品,很有潛力獲獎。而且我也是贏得這個挑戰(zhàn)賽的第一位印度人,為此感到非常高興,因為在印度成為一名優(yōu)秀美術(shù)師非常困難。

初次使用 的體驗
我不僅在3ds Max中使用貼圖以及制作復(fù)雜的著色器,還在3ds Max中制作材質(zhì)。但復(fù)雜的著色器使3ds Max的運行速度變慢,我必須找到更好的替代方式。我很早就知道 是制作紋理和著色器非常不錯的工具。但是,直到 挑戰(zhàn)賽開始我才有時間學(xué)習(xí)這款工具。于是我決定使用 ,而且未來項目的工作流程也會使用這款應(yīng)用程序。
我剛開始使用的時候,感覺這款工具非常清新而且交互界面相當(dāng)簡單, 令人很興奮。尤其是觀看 教程后,沒用多久就將其應(yīng)用于工作流程中,這對于理解這款軟件的應(yīng)用和技巧非常有益處,還可以使用它來實現(xiàn)目標(biāo)。
未來項目
我還想?yún)⒓痈囗椖恳约疤魬?zhàn)賽。也希望盡快學(xué)習(xí) ,這是一款非常不錯的工具。我鼓勵美術(shù)師們嘗試學(xué)習(xí)這個應(yīng)用程序,它對于制作著色器非常靈活而且很高效。
